Important Update: Pause on new registrations for Guelph Greener Homes

Due to high demand, new registrations will pause starting June 23, 2025 to ensure we don’t overcommit our program funding. The pause will let us recalibrate funding and ensure the program remains fair and effective for all participants.

  • Already registered? Your application and project can continue as planned.
  • The new registration pause is expected to last 3–6 months while we reassess funding.
  • We’ll announce when registration reopens.

Helping Guelph go green, one home at a time

A greener future begins at home. In support of Race To Zero, the City of Guelph is offering zero-interest loans to residential property owners in Guelph to help cover the costs of residential energy efficiency upgrades. The launch of Guelph Greener Homes will help reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and make homes more energy-efficient, comfortable, and climate-friendly.
